Two Languages, One Community
At Florecer, Spanish and English are more than subjects to study. They are tools for connection.
Our dual-language Spanish immersion model is designed to grow bilingual and biliterate ambassadors who can communicate across languages and cultures while building strong academic foundations.
Our Mission
Florecer Community School (FCS) is a K-8 dual language immersion school that provides a culturally diverse and rigorous global learning experience to prepare ALL students to flourish as multilingual, multiliterate, high-achieving changemakers while sustaining audacious joy and a commitment to building an international community.

On’Draya is committed to serving our diverse future generations and their families with the dignity and honor they deserve. Her leadership embodies her multicultural upbringing which led to her genuine love for all people and the desire to create transformational change through educational equity in our community.
Her vision is that Florecer will be a bridge through academic achievement and language immersion to a transformational future for all students in Alabama and across the nation.
